Week 6 Update

Tables and results updated.
Stats update in progress. ***Completed***
BrookStats final update due this evening. ***Completed***

New 'Finals' page added!

EDIT: BrookStats (weeks) is now completed, I will update the teams again at the end of the season (so that the player section will include every player who did something noteworthy is included)

***ANNOUNCEMENT***

As of next season I will be discontinuing BrookStats. The simple fact of the matter is that by the next season I should be a brand new daddy and the time BrookStats takes to do will be better spent doing other things... like sleeping :P

I will decide what to do about the other statistics closer to the time... but, rest assured, the minimum I promise to do will be the league tables and results. They will definately stay folks ;)

If anyone else has a burning desire to continue with BrookStats or do some of the other book-keeping then I will gladly mentor them through the first season ;) (Waits to get trampled in the rush... not! ;D)

The Losers Invitational

Fixtures are below; seed format is the same as below. All matches Cup rules, and this is a single-elimination tournament. Lose and you're out until next year.

Delta (1) v. Presidents (8)
Thunder (2) v. Saltopus (7)
Maidstone (3) v. Freaks (6)
Kings (4) v. Das Quakes (5)

Finals Fixtures

I think my numbers are correct, given the results of the final week's matches, and so the B-Cup finals fixtures are below. Team ranking is in parentheses next to each name, and as we move forward, the highest remaining seed will always play the lowest remaining seed, etc.

Dirty Ratz (1) v. System (8)
Tigers (2) v. BFC (7)
Ellwood (3) v. Brooklyn Wind (6)
FC Bonafide (4) v. Avalanche (5)

The quarterfinals and semifinals are elimination matches, meaning play them as Cup Rules, please. The finals this season will be in two legs, with away goals then total goals being the tiebreakers.

The four teams that lose this week's matches (I think I already know who they are) will play for 5th-8th place, with seedings determining home teams and matchups, same as above. I'll post those fixtures next week. We only need a single-game final, however, so all matches should be played as Cup Rules.

Week 5 Update

I have just had time to update the tables and results. Will try to update stats tomorow after work.

Wins have been awarded to Avs and Tigers in their games against Presidents (this week and last). It seems presidents don't like playing away games :P

Enjoy ;)

PS I love the new message system... much slicker ;)

Update, week 4

The main update occurred last night but I have just finished updating BrookStats (apologies for forgetting these last week).

This week is the last week that coursework should create me so many problems... from next week normal service should be resumed ;)

Week 3 Update

Apologies for the lateness of the update folks but I have been literally run off my feet marking coursework for the past week (I have done 300 scripts this week alone!). Things may settle down by next week but no promisses :/

The stats, results and tables have all been updated (or are being updated right now) and I have another little surprise in store... just go take a look at the 'introduction' page.

Notice anything? No?!?!? Then turn up your speakers :P

Yep, folks, I have added a stirring theme tune to the Brooky Cup... let me know what you think. If anyone has an alternative theme then email it to me and I will use it... maybe we can vote on which we like the best in a (as yet unused) poll on the Federation's conference?

Good luck this week ;)
