Hello everyone

B-Cup up and running. As always Im amazed with all the stuff that is flowing out of headratz fingers. Great stuff your producing, B-cup wouldnt be the same without it.

Im planning on visiting a good friend of mine who lives in Jersey. Anyone now any good sites for finding cheap flights to Newark or NewYork.

If I go maybe a gettogether with the american B-cuppers. Hmm??

Week 1 Update

Tables and results are complete for this week. I have also added all the season's fixtures (As determined by Scott) to each group's page.

Some of the match commentaries have been completed and have been added to the site, the rest will be added as they come in, folks!

I won't put up the stats pages until after next week's games as they will be a little meaningless until then. But rest-assured they have all been compiled and will kick in next week as per usual :)

Setup Complete

Okay, the site is 100% ready for the new season... enjoy!

I have added a few new features but nothing too major. I will also be investigating the possibility of using Cup-Manager from the Hattrix website as well.

As usual, any mistakes or typos please let me know and I will change them for the next update.

Good luck to all in their first match of the new season :)

Dead Player's Society

I have organised this a little more and added the 47 new names to the list... quite a few old favourites have gone this last season. Here is a breakdown of who has culled the most:

Wind: 7
Pres: 6
BFC: 5
Pus: 5
Tigers: 5
KCU: 4
3loc: 3
Stones: 3
Avs: 2
Choc: 2
Ellwood: 2
Freaks: 2
Ratz: 1
Delta: 0
FCB: 0
Wolf: 0

So we can easily see who has brought in new blood to the tourney... will this be enough to raise their performance?

Time will tell ;)

New Season Setup

I have archived season XXIII and have started to set up season XXIV.

So far I have set up the new groups and first week's fixtures... I will complete these when I have the full fixture list from Scott later. This evening I have been updating the player information and will finish off the rest tomorrow.

For convenience I have marked pages '(offline)' if they are not going to be written until later in the season. As they get updated I will remove this tag.

I have also changed Saltopus' background colours now that they finally have a strip... nice colours by the way ;) This change occurred after the first update so won't show up until the next one... sorry :P

I will post a message when the site is completed, ready for the first games :)

Well, maybe not *total*....

Yes, matches start next week. You looked at the wrong team. There is another team called "Genetic Freaks" in the Netherlands. Our man is "THE Genetic Freaks", right here in New York Freakin City.

ok....so I'm a total idiot

uhhhhhhhh.........matches start next week right??

I just looked at Genetic Freaks and it says that he is still in the "KNVB Beker".

I guess there is still one team unavailable (holding us back) for BC play??

To rename or not to rename..?

Thanks Maria for the interesting information. I will investigate it further ;-)
But for Jeff... LOTFLMPO !!! :DX

N.B. On a second thought, I'll keep my team name Bajen Avalanche. I've figured out that animals don't like avalanches. So there...

N.B2. Why is Saltopus(sy) ranked so low as no. 5? I mean, my team only won with 4-1 on their home ground this week. ;->

Let the Brooky Cup show begin! ho-ho

Avs Name Change

I quite like 'Bajen Kitty Kats' (or 'Katz' ;))... it'd give me something else to torture Claus about ;D

Better still: 'The Bajen Pussies' that has a nice ring to it too ;P

Re: Should I....

Kitty Kat Klub. There's a great bar here by that name, though I think there is a more famous one somewhere else in the world (or used to be). But I think it would be a great team name.

Should I rename my club to the 'pussy cats'..or?

I've started to wonder why all (well...almost all) teams having some sort of animal included in their team name get all the luck that we 'others' seem to be lacking..??!! Hmm...

Tigers, ratz, wolfs...

And then I thought it might be true the saying: "Hungry animals (and I'm not talking pets here..!) chase better..."

So, with this in mind I started to play around with my own team name...and came to the conclusion that I perhaps could try to take a smaller step in the "right" direction and start off with "Bajen pussy cats"...eh?

What do you think?

N.B! Could I pleease ask the management of the remaining teams (circus directors ;-) to give up their local cup campaigns...so that we finally can get started with the REAL CUP!!!...eh?

I'm waiting...

Sorry....

...I didn't mean to win. Honest!

I really didn't expect to win and had intended to at least play my wimpy keeper-trainee but forgot to sub him in. I should get stomped next match for sure. And if I don't, then it's an act of God or something and not much we can do about that. ;)

Re: B-Cup Countdown

Boo. Why can't the squads still in the cup face up to the inevitable and field a weak team, so that the much-awaited Brooklyn Cup can start?
