Just to get everyone ready for the matches next week, here are the week 1 fixtures:

Matchweek 1

Thunder  v.  Presidents

Group 2

Group 3

Good luck, and here's hoping someone can take down the Tigers and Ratz this year.

Jonas

Allow me to be the first to say congratulations here.  Welcome to fatherhood Jeff!  Enjoy the ride...

Best wishes for the Mrs. and the snapper!

I am a Dad!

My son has been born and I officially join the ranks of adulthood! He was born at 8 minutes past 11 in the evening of Sunday 25th July. His name is Jonas David Beck and he is, without question, the most gorgeous thing on the planet (except for Claus of course ;)). As expected I wept like a new born baby (appropriate analogy) when he arrived... even though he didn't!

All I can say to those who have not witnessed the birth of their child is:

1) Do it!
2) Don't take any notice of the TV programs showing births... it's MUCH messier than you can possibly imagine!

TBD

Carrying the water for Claus a bit here...

TBD has an official name:  Direwolf Athletic, owned by the irrepressible Maria Pinkstaff.  We were series mates in US division V.100 for several years, and the defense she's created through her keeper training program will make the Group 2 competition VERY serious.

Welcome!

I like it!

Groups look great Scott. I'm looking forward to finding myself a new whipping boy in this new group I'm in. Any takers. Boyd??

Actually I have a feeling I am going to be fighting for my life in the Das Losers Invitational again.

In any case, it should be fun!

B-Cup Groupings for next season

Again, as mentioned elsewhere we are starting the B-Cup in time for Week 6 matches.    At this point only Ellwood is still in the Welsh Cup, and I'm sure he would gladly take a walkover loss or two in exchange for the riches and glory of his countrymen.   So remember to NOT SCHEDULE A FRIENDLY AFTER NEXT TUESDAY'S AND WEDNESDAY'S MATCHES until you see me publish the fixtures list.

Without further ado, here are the groups:

18 yo solid scorer...

Anyone interested in a young scoring trainee?

Put on the transfer this evening. Dead line Thursday, July 15 at 22.37

Peter Askenskär
TSI = 850 (850 000 kr) , 18 years, passable form

[Technical]

Stamina: poor
Playmaking: passable
Passing: wretched
Scoring: solid

Opening bid: 0 $

Go and get him and have him to score goals in BC against my team Bajen Avs! he-he

Can't hardly wait until BCup starts again so that I once again can make life a bit more miserable for your clubs! ;)
At least to those lucky guys playing in national leagues that permits cup play against teams worse than div. VII teams in Sweden. You losers! ;-)
I don't hate YOU for all the money you so easily cash in, in the opening matches against amateurish opponents...but I'm JEALOUS! (a little bit...anyway)

N.B. I could also discuss a swop of player trainees. You train this guy for me and I'll train play making skill for one of your own choice...eh?
Never done this, but could perhaps get some guidance from someone that's already tried this option?

We're all eagerly waiting for some breaking news from Ratland...
Almost as exciting as a Brooky Cup season!

Wish you all Brooky cupers good luck with your league play this season! (but not in the BC!) he-he
